The Guides Axiom

This game is a fantastic crytogram game. You go through cryptic messages about some new technology and find passwords in order to continue to the next level. The puzzles range far and wide. Once you figure out a new type of code, the game will give you a new decoder to help streamline your gameplay. The puzzles are great and there are SO MANY SECRETS. What is that quote from the bible, "he who hath /ears to hear, let him hear" or something like that.I love when games have multiple answers and give you little achievements for figuring out more difficult responses. This game makes you go back and forth, reviewing older puzzles to figure out how to progress.

Overall, I love this game, but there are two cons I can point out immediately. The first is small and that's the camera function. It's kind of annoying. I think my issue is that with the other subgroups, you click above the function to return to the puzzle, but that's where you take the picture. So I took a lot of extra pics when trying to return to the puzzles.

But here's the BIG one. It's not finished. It hasn't updated in a LONG time. It's not guaranteed that they'll ever return to it and it does feel unfinished as of now May 2020. I tried to quench my thirst by going to the prequel, but I wish I had played the prequel beforehand because they developed their UI better in Axiom and it became REALLY obvious by going backwards. I think I would've been happy with the slightly new UI if I had seen the old one first. That's on me though, not the developers. I should've played the first one well... first. BUT that doesn't change the fact that it's not updated and feels empty upon finishing the current levels.

Edit: I haven't played the bonus levels in Axiom that you need to buy.
